The Kinds of Projects We Take On

This page is about fit rather than a trophy wall. We build websites, stores, apps, and brand systems for Singapore SMEs and growth-stage brands, and the projects below describe the shapes those take, what the work involves, and who each one suits.

Common engagements

  • E-commerce builds for product businesses Shopify / Woo
  • Mobile apps alongside a service iOS + Android

How to judge whether your project fits

Ask three questions before you send anything. They take a minute and they save both sides a longer conversation.

Review our services
  • Does design quality and build quality need to come from the same small team? Studio shape
  • Is there one decision-maker who can approve work? Approvals
  • Is the scope something you can describe in a paragraph? Scope

Three yeses and we are likely a good match. If your project needs a large integrated campaign team, a full marketing retainer, or a public-sector accessibility programme, another kind of agency will serve you better — and we will say so rather than take the work.

Corporate and professional-services websites

The most common project we take: a services firm with five to fifty people, a site that has grown by addition rather than design, and enquiries arriving through a single generic inbox. The work is structural. We cut the page list down, rewrite service pages around what clients actually ask, build on WordPress so the team can publish, and route the contact form to the right person. The outcome is a site that answers questions before the first call.

What the work includes

  • APage list cut down to the pages that carry enquiries
  • BService pages rewritten around real client questions
  • CWordPress build the in-house team can publish on
  • DContact routing so enquiries reach the right person

E-commerce builds for product businesses

Storefront work usually involves a catalogue of tens to hundreds of products, a fulfilment process that already exists, and a checkout that needs to be trustworthy rather than clever. Shipping, returns, and payment expectations get written into the site — stated plainly, in the places a shopper looks for them.

Platform choice
  • Shopify When the commerce plumbing should be managed for you and the store is the main event.
  • WooCommerce When the store belongs beside content — guides, stock notes, or a blog that brings search traffic.
  • Payment Invoice or bank transfer, cash on delivery where offered, or card in person at pickup. Whatever applies is stated on the site, not left to the buyer to guess.

Mobile apps as companions to a service

App projects here tend to extend something that already works: a booking flow, a membership, an internal process currently run on spreadsheets. We scope the smallest shippable version, build for iOS and Android, and ship in releases.

Internal tools

Reliability first, with admin screens the team can actually run day to day.

Customer apps

Onboarding and behaviour on a weak connection get the attention.

Both need the login and notification decisions made early — they shape the build more than the visual layer does.

Brand and graphic design systems

Some clients arrive with a logo and nothing else. The work then covers the full system: logo refinement, typography and colour rules, packaging or signage where relevant, decks, and social templates the team will reuse without a designer.

The test is production. A mark that only reads at poster size will fail in a browser tab, and a palette that only works on screen will fail on an invoice.

Deliverables the team keeps using

  • Logo refinement and clear-space rules
  • Type and colour specifications
  • Packaging or signage artwork
  • Deck and social templates

Sites where content depth is the point

If your business publishes guides, documentation, or a blog that brings in search traffic, the build has to serve that. We structure categories and templates, set up internal linking, and make publishing fast enough that your team keeps doing it. WordPress is usually the right platform here.

A boutique WordPress specialist can also serve you well if content is the whole project and design requirements are light. We would rather point you there than pad a scope.

Projects where structure follows acquisition

When a website is one channel in a wider marketing plan, page hierarchy gets decided by what you are trying to acquire. Landing pages, form placement, and the path from advert to enquiry matter more than a broad homepage.

SEO-led agencies shape sites this way from the start. We do the same when it fits, and we will say plainly when your project would be better served by an agency that also runs the campaigns.

Two ways to build the same brief

Design and build studio

Design quality and build quality come from one small team. Fewer handovers, one person accountable for the finished site.

Integrated campaign agency

Site, media spend, and creative are planned together. Better when acquisition is the whole job and the site is one lever.

Neither route is wrong. The mistake is briefing one and expecting the other.

Visual-first marketing sites

For campaigns, launches, and brand-led businesses where a marketer needs to publish without a developer, a no-code build on Webflow is often the pragmatic choice. Speed of publishing and design control are the reasons.

The trade-off is plugin flexibility and deep content architecture, which is where WordPress still wins. We will recommend whichever matches how your team actually works.

Pick by how your team publishes

  • Webflow — a marketer can ship a campaign page without a developer, and design control stays tight.

  • WordPress — more plugin room and a deeper category and template structure for long-lived content.

  • Both are honest answers. The deciding question is who edits the site after launch, and how often.

Public-sector-grade work is a different discipline

Large public digital services in Singapore set expectations for accessibility, reliability, and service flows that commercial sites can learn from. We apply those lessons where they fit: clear language, forms that work on old phones, and error states that tell people what to do.

Full accessibility programmes at public-service scale need specialist teams, and we will say so rather than overstate what we can deliver.

Talking about outcomes honestly

We do not publish invented metrics or borrowed case studies. What we can describe is the shape of the work, the decisions made, and what the client ended up with: a site their team can edit, a store that completes orders, an app that ships in releases.

If you want references, ask during the enquiry and we will discuss what is appropriate for your project type.

Questions visitors ask before enquiring

Can I see examples of your work?

Open

Ask during the enquiry and we will share what is relevant to your project type and discuss it in context.

Do you take on small projects?

Open

Yes. A single responsive marketing site or a brand refresh is a normal engagement. We will tell you if a smaller scope serves you better.

Do you work with clients outside Singapore?

Open

We are based in Singapore and most clients are local. Remote work is possible when the timezone and review rhythm suit both sides.
